Updating ps3 usb
Place the PS3 folder from the extracted folder on to the USB drives root directory.
Once the console has loaded, head to Settings – Proceed This should take around 10 minutes to complete. You should now be able to install custom firmware on your device.
Back up the data found on your USB drive by copying everything to a folder on your computer.
Also confirm your console is compatible with this list. By clicking the image below it will take you to the download page. Plug the USB into the PS3 console (off), and then turn it on.
Whilst I'll do this if you bafoons can't think of something other than "it's impossible soz" I'd much rather a quicker way to do this other than taking my PC apart or formatting a laptop to emulate a USB Drive in order to update a PS3. Of course it might just be something incredibly simple. It's the middle of the night and I want to update my damn PS3 to play .
Though I have some faith my internet can hold out long enough to download this 1.5gb file, there have been many other complaints on the battlelog forum that the patch just isn't managing to download due to connections cutting out mid way.
Apparently, if you want the PS4 experience to be as or more talkative than the PS3's, you'll have to resort to the pack-in earbud kit.
In the least condescending way, i've constantly witnessed Yahoo! Windows can ONLY see one keyboard and mouse at a time and will not divert from that! So I went and installed VMWare, and had two copies of Windows running on different TV's.
